A newly funded natural laboratory, designed to understand the interaction between the climate, hydrology, and the 56�Թ��� community, is now collecting data, thanks to the recent installation of specialized monitoring stations on campus and in a local creek. 

Nestled within Little Hall’s Clifford Art Gallery, there sits a small white house composed of two windows, two doors, and an array of tiny portraits. This installation, fittingly titled The Little House, opened with a lecture and reception on Sept. 14.

56�Թ��� will host a special panel with members of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF), Wednesday, October 26, titled Exposing War Crimes in Syria and the Connection to the Ukraine Crisis. 

From Friday, Sept. 23, to Saturday, Sept. 24, 56�Թ��� hosted campus community members and alumni for a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance Center.

56�Թ��� broke ground Friday, Sept. 30, to celebrate the start of construction on the Benton Center for Creativity and Innovation, an anchor of the new Middle Campus, made possible through a $25 million gift from Daniel C. Benton ’80, H’10, P’10.
