A flash mob video shot earlier this semester in Frank Dining Hall was unveiled today to help celebrate 56�Թ��� Day.

(Editor’s Note: Marilyn Hernandez-Stopp ’14 is blogging from China, where she is visiting as part of the university’s Benton Scholars Program.) My first few days in China have been phenomenal. After an exhausting 14-hour flight, we arrived at the Beijing airport at around 6:30 at night (though it felt like the morning for us!).

Triplets graduating from 56�Թ��� this Sunday talk about their four years together on campus and their plans for the future that will keep them much farther apart.

Maggie Dunne ’13 is known on 56�Թ���’s campus for her devotion to philanthropy, from involvement with the COVE, to serving as philanthropy chair in her sorority, to operating her own nonprofit organization. Thanks to her staunch commitment to service and leadership, she’s been awarded the Newman Civic Fellow Award from Campus Compact.

Finals week is fast approaching, and I am ready for the last stretch of my freshman year. This week I have been inundated with work, turning in assignments, and enjoying the good weather that has finally made an appearance on campus.

Roads outside the 56�Թ��� campus were re-opened late this morning after flooding issues subsided.

The Palace Theater was “Swank-ified” and filled to the brim with 56�Թ��� students, parents, faculty, Alumni Council members, and Hamilton residents who gathered for Konosioni’s 14th annual charity auction.
