Get ready, Raider Nation. Two 56�Թ��� teams — football and volleyball — are advancing to NCAA tournament play.

Last July, orthopedic surgeon Eric Gokcen ’84 performed a groundbreaking eight-hour surgery. His 17-year-old Ethiopian patient, Workitu Debebe, had a “parasitic twin” — a condition where a person has extra limbs, but no attached head or viable body.

It has been more than 20 years since 56�Թ��� last undertook a master plan of its built environment and land holdings, and in that time much in the landscape has changed.

56�Թ��� dominated the second half of its game against Lehigh on Saturday, propelling the Raiders to a 35-24 victory that secured the Patriot League title and an automatic berth in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs for the Raiders. Raiders rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat the Mountain Hawks at Goodman Stadium.
